Snacks that Make a Good Company to Your Coffee

Dark Chocolate

The taste of the dark cocoa blending in with the rich coffee flavours really has you savouring each bite. Sometimes I like to drop a small piece of chocolate right into my hot coffee. It melts a bit and really gives you a special dark chocolate tasting coffee.

Biscotti

An Italian biscotti dips so well in a nice cup of coffee! A biscotti is a double baked cake so it becomes hard and perfect for dipping into your coffee. A fresh biscotti paired with a nice dark coffee is one of my favourite things to savour.

Cookies

Cookies are a popular snack all over the world when it comes to pairing it with coffee.  I personally love when I let a chocolate chip cookie sit a little too long in my coffee and the chips fall in. I also love letting the cookie sit on the rim of the hot coffee for a few minutes. The heat of the coffee melts the cookie just a little.

Cheesecake

Having cheesecake with a coffee is a rich treat. A nice cheesecake can really add an enjoyable contrast with a cup of coffee. There’s something magical about the cool, fruity and rich cheese taste paired with coffee. It just melts in your mouth. I don’t think I’ve ever passed up on a cheesecake-and-coffee opportunity.

Tiramisu

A good Tiramisu is addictive! I can personally eat an entire cake to myself. Why not have a fresh cup of coffee or an espresso to go with your coffee soaked cake! It might have you bouncing off the walls, but that’s the fun part.
